Quilla

Quilla may be of two different origins.

1) Of Inca origin.

It means “moon”. According to the Incas, the pre-Columbian people of the South-Western America, Mama Quilla was the “goddess of the Moon”, or “Mother Moon”.

2) Of Latin origin.

In that case, Quilla is used as a diminutive of the Roman name Aquila, meaning “eagle”.
