Older form, that is Ancient Greek form, of the name Zeno.

From the Greek name “Ζήνων”, Zenon, deriving from Zeus, the ancient Greek God.

Two Greek philosophers were named Zenon.

Zenon of Elea and Zenon of Citium.

Zenon of Elea was a pre-Socratic philosopher, which Aristotle called “inventor of the dialectic”.

He is best known for his series of philosophical problems, called “Zenon’s Paradoxes”.
